MALALA YOUSAFZAI
(born 12 July 1997 in Mingora )

Hello my readers!!

As you do know, every year choose one winner for the Nobel prize (Literature, Peace, Economics and Physiology and medicine). All of them are very interesting and important
person but MALALA YOUSAFZAI is one that call me attention. They give the peace Nobel prize in 2014 with only 17 years, she is the youngest-ever Nobel Prize laureate. She was born 12 July in Mingora.
I chose Malala Yousafzai because she call me attention for one reason: she defended the right of a women to education. Much of the world's population, especially in poor countries, is made up of children and young people. To achieve a peaceful world, it is crucial that the rights of children and young people be respected. Injustices perpetrated against children contribute to the spread of conflicts to future generations. Already at eleven years, Malala Yousafzai became an advocate for girls' education, which resulted in the Taliban issuing a death threat against her. On October 9, 2012, a gunman shot Malala when she was traveling home from school. She survived, and has continued to speak out on the importance of education and become a leading advocate of girls' rights.

They have given the nobel prize to Malala Yousafzai because "for their struggle against the suppression of children and young people and for the right of all children to education".
